S.M. Entertainment is a major talent, producer, and publisher of Korean pop music, founded by Lee Soo Man. "SM" stands for the name of the company founder, Lee Soo Man, but now stands for Star Museum (Museum of Stars), because of the popularity of SM Entertainment singers in South Korea. The company is famous as the home of legendary groups such as H.O.T, S.E.S, and Shinhwa. SM Entertainment also publishes Avex Trax for Japanese artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Namie Amuro, and Koda Kumi. The company is now overshadowed some artists such as Girls' Generation (SNSD), Super Junior, SHINee, f (x), TVXQ, BoA, EXO, and J-Min.
